Automatic Body Movement

The Costail detects your body movements using sensors. When you shift your weight from side to side, the Costail automatically follows your movement, creating a natural movement without any remote control. If you want discrete movement you can walk calmly, and if you want major tail action you should walk with more swagger.

Pause Mode

When the Pause Mode initiates the tail moves in a calm and randomized pattern to indicate that the wearer is relaxing. This is a favorite among our customers!

Switching between modes

After you've put on the Costail and turned it on, the tail calibrates for 5 seconds. Now the tail is ready to move based on how you do. Easily shift to pause mode by standing still for two seconds. When you decide that you want automatic body movement, just start moving again!

Change the bend of the tail

By using the steel wire that holds the tail together, you can easily change the shape of the tail. Just release the top screw, shape the tail how you want it, and fasten the screw again.

Switch between lengths

The Costail can easily be changed between a long and a short tail. There are 19 tail segments needed for a long tail, and 10 for a short. We have added both short and long steel wires to the kit, so changing is a breeze. If you want a custom tail, you can cut one of the steel wires to an exact length!

Reusable

The tail can be used for all your cosplays, just change the tail cover at any time you want! Create your own, or buy on of ours. Our pre-made tail covers come with adhesive velcro, so it's simple to switch!. Because of the smooth surface of the tail segments and the electronics box, taking the covers on and off is easy.
