The hoop is made out of chrome steel, the plastic ears are made out of PLA plastic, and the Cuteband ears are made out of the same type of faux fur material that we use for the Costail Tail Covers.

Cosband Pro is intended to be used for attaching headgear for more advanced costumes and professional cosplayers. Cosband pro consists of a strong headband and a variatey of magnets in different sizes and strengths. Cuteband is a more playful product, directed towards entry level cosplayers and those who need a casual everyday headpiece that can be worn on a regular day.

Through our testing we have found that 25 grams is about how much you can use before you risk that the ears fall off. For reference, the plastic ears themselves weigh in on 4 grams. This is with the ear connected directly to the steel hoop with nothing in between. And with the weight placed in the center of the ear. If you make large ears they might fall off at a smaller weight. For bigger headgear we recommend using the Cosband Pro!

Yes of course! You can sew your own fur ears and put them on, or let your imagination run wild! The magnets are however quite small and will not hold a lot of weight. If you want to make your own headgear we instead recommend Cosband pro! This can carry a lot more weight, comes with different size magnets and even works through a wig!

The stickers have glue on the backside that is reasonably strong. This means that they will stick comfortably to the plastic ears without falling off. But it is also possible to pull them off if you want to change things up a bit! The glue will however wear off each time you take it off, so over time you might have a hard time getting it to stick. If that is the case we recommend adding some more glue to the stickers.

The magnets are very strong, but are only dangerous in cases where they can snap together and squash fingers or something similar. It is not dangerous to have magnets close to your head in the way that “magnetic force can cause damage”. If you are using a cochliar implant or other electronic devices on your head, you need to consult with your physician before using cuteband.

The hoop is very flexible and it fits both our male, grown engineers, and smaller heads. The full length of the hoop is 38 cm.

The plastic ears are 15 mm thick at the base, and slimmer at the top. It has a triangular shape that is 30 mm tall and 50 mm wide. The furs are custom made to fit on the plastic ears perfectly!

We do not sell or market any of the products in our store towards children. This is primeraly because the different laws and regulations for different countries concerning children's toys are difficult for us as a small company to keep track of. We can therefore not recommend that you buy any of our products to young children. Do NOT eat the magnets.

Yes! As long as the headphones are magnetic, they work! It needs to have some steel parts in order to connect. The Bose headsets we use work great, but this will vary, depending on your headset.

In some cases it might work. With a thin wig and with small ears it might be enough holding power, but for that user case we recommend the Cosband Pro. This is intended for that very purpose, is a lot more versatile and can hold A LOT more weight.
